Murano Glass Story…in 1291, all the glass makers in Venice were forced to move to Murano due to the risk of fires. In the following century, exports began, and the island became famous, initially for glass beads and mirrors. Aventurine glass was invented on the island, and for awhile Murano was the main producer of glass in Europe. The island later became known for chandeliers. Although decline set in during the eighteenth century, glass making is still the island’s main industry.

The LoveLinks Concept - A new jewellery collection has just hit the Australian market! This particular concept was created in Denmark and is now extremely popular all over the world.
Built on a well established concept of modern charm jewellery, Lovelinks is a collection of sterling silver, gold, gold-plated and Murano glass beads that fit over a flexible sterling silver bracelet or necklace. Each link has a unique fused rubber core which slides on easily. Both bracelets and necklaces feature evenly spaced pods which function as stoppers when links are positioned directly over them. This creates the opportunity for varied designs and colour combinations even when using only a few links.
There is a wide selection of beads featuring vibrantly coloured Murano glass in funky patterns, classic sterling silver, gold plated and solid gold links too.
